In a tough climate where games roles are slim. In an attempt to upkeep my creative skills I joined a group of recent graduates to work on a game demo which we have been presenting at career showcases and are currently looking into funding and advertisement. Working as a environment artist and 3D prop modeller. My focus is on setting the scene and working with material artists to create pixelated and stylised post processed effects. This project has provided me with valuable teamwork experience and greatly improved my organisational skills producing this project alongside my honour’s year and working under the pressure of a variety of deadlines.

In my Third year I had the opportunity to work within a group on a client brief for Pocket sized hands. My role was lead artists where I oversaw the project to create a visually cohesive style whilst focusing my individual contribution on the environmental aspect of the game. I gained valuable experience using Maya and Z-brush in tandem to create an Egyptian stylised environment. Using substance painter and designer I lead the texture creation working on trim sheets and tillable materials for our scenes. The most valuable part of experience I gained was in team organisation working with a small group of artists to create visual consistency and manage timeline.
